The apartment complex is quite new (or at least renovated recently) and very nice, and has some good amenities (pool and gym). However, the speed of emergency maintenance needs to be greatly improved in my opinion. I recently had my A/C breakdown during the latest heatwave and it took them 3 1/2 days before it was working again, for someone my age I was able to deal with it but if a senior person or young child had to be in that house all day I think it would have been a different story. When they first arrived they provided some relief (a small A/C unit that kept my small 1-bedroom apt at a comfortable 85 degrees at night), which would have been fine for a night or two...max. But due to the negligence of the daily maintenance crew checking in with the on-call maintenance personnel I had to wait at least a day or two longer then needed. My A/C went out Saturday night, and so I realized things happen and so I called on Sunday. After waiting several hours (making at least three calls to the emergency line) I finally got someone to my APT and he told me the A/C blew and they would need to replace the A/C unit, but someone would be out first thing Monday to fix it. He said I would not need to be there they would just do it, and so I went to work. When I finally got off I came home and it still had not been fixed, so I went to the office around 4pm and told them my story and they said that they were "just going to check on my apartment" and would be up right away. Well the guy came 10 mins later and tried "fixing" it on the inside then had to go to the roof to check it out. He came back and told me it needed to be replaced...same thing I had been told the day before, and so "he would put in an order and it would be fixed in a day or two...sorry." I was a bit mad because my order should have been put in first thing Monday since they already knew it was broken but waited until the end of the day before they even checked it out. So that is why I am only giving a two star.

I've lived here for about 3 years now and the apt complex is very nice. Up-to-date building with great amenities of pool, gym, and multipurpose room. Staff is great. Maintenance responds to requests super fast within 24 hrs and Mac, who works maintenance, always does a great job! The location is awesome in City Center because you have beautiful fountains to walk around and many great restaurants and a movie theater within walking distance. It also is just a couple minutes from I-64 access which is perfect for people who commute far for their jobs like myself. The parking inside the complex is sometimes full so you have to park around the outside the building or in the free parking garage across the street. It's still close so not super inconvenient. For it being a community within City Center, the noise isn't too bad and people don't get too loud on weekend nights. There are a couple of bars nearby but nothing gets out of control. There are some car clubs that like to loiter in the free parking garage or on the city center streets with really loud music and mufflers around 1 and 2am that wake me up, but thankfully that only happens a couple times a month. During the winter months, if we get snow, the roads around city center are some of the first to get plowed. Its definitely one of the more expensive apartments in the city but you get great quality and beautiful location for what you pay for. I wish there was a recycling bin within each building but you do have to walk to the next building over to drop off your recycling.

We would like to thank Dustin in Maintenance for the superb job he did in the middle of the night recently fixing a leak in our apartment and for his timely follow-up in repairing the wall afterward. It looks brand new!
