EMAIL ON 05/30/20 WISHING OUR CAT FRITTY A HAPPY BIRTHDAY! First of all you haven't been my vet since the last time I took Fritty to Parkway on March 25, 2019!...he was always caringly seen by Dr. Wraith. ...When Dr. Wraith cut his scheduled hours back, our loving cat Fritty had the unfortunate experience of being seen by Dr. Demi Tanner... She is one of the worst, uncaring, unprofessional vets I have encountered in years!...I left that day never to return to Parkway with either Fritty or any of the several cats and dog tha... read more

I made an appointment due to the Covid-19 situation, they advised that when you get to the parking lot they would come out and get your pet. I arrived to my appt 10 mins before my appt and called to let them know I am outside in their parking lot - no one answered the phone. I waited an additional 10'minutes after my appt no one came out - I called again and finally got someone on the phone and let them know what happened and they could care less, no apology, nothing. I left the parking lot and gave up on this place. ... read more

Every single time I go in here I'm charged over a hundred dollars. I went in because THEY wanted to weigh him to know how much heart medicine to give my dog and they charged me for an "annual visit" even though it was just supposed to be a weight check. I have also heard receptionists complain about clients. Things like "Well if you're not willing to pay the money for your animal's care then you shouldn't even own a pet" and things like that. I mean, I get that you should take care of your pet but not HUNDREDS of dollars in ... read more

So I'm adding another review for this vet. I think they are a great vet, however, maybe because they are so liked locally, they are always busy and never have same day appt. Go figure. My dog sees them for his annual and we have used them for other pets in the past. My dog has needed same day appt 3x this year and all 3 x, I called right when they opened and they were already booked, leading me to use other vets, which I my switch just so all our visits and records are in one place.

They sent me a vaccine reminder through email. I made an appointment with them to do the vaccines for my dog. After I checked in, the doctor checked my dog's temperature, teeth and ears ( took her less than 2 minutes). I thought it's just regular routine before the vaccines. But when I received invoice its $114 for 2 vaccines? I was shocked, then I looked carefully, there was a $58 physical exam and consultation charge which I didn't ask for and I was not informed before they did it. $28 per vaccine is already above the aver... read more

I had been to parkway for my French bulldog's ear infection last year. My experience went well and I thought I found my life time vet . At that time, Dr Bloomberg was trustworthy, knowledgeable and very kind. Everything went great. Now fast forward to my second trip. I took my other Frenchie in today for the same issue(ear infection). Dr Bloomberg informed me that she would take my dog back and inspect her ear as well clean it. I asked her why she needed to be taken to the back and why not look inside it and confirm an ear ... read more

Dropped our dog off at 12pm for a radiology appt. they insisted getting her there before they close for lunch. I sat around and waited until 4pm as they said they would call when she was done. I called at 2pm they said it would be about another hour. By 4:20 they still had not called. I sat around for hours and had to call them to be told she had been ready for awhile. Not happy. Earlier in the morning they had called and asked about ordering some test that we never discussed (x-rays) and they said the MA's had discussed it ... read more

SO mad at this vet!!! I came here originally probably 5 years or so ago when my dog was sick and they were very caring so I made them my regular vet. Shortly after I brought my other dog in. She needed her nails trimmed and they literally dragged her across the floor into a back room leaving a trail of pee behind her. When she came back out the lady was mad at ME because my dog pooped all over the place because she was so scared! What do they think will happen dragging my dog like that?! A year or so later I adopted a ... read more

We have been coming to Parkway Vet for over 10 years. So to write this review, it's upsetting to me. I called to bring my dog in for a toe nail clipping and a belly shave on a Thursday. Up to this point, he was fine no problems, happy as can be. However, when I took him in, I told the vet technician to only clip his nails and shave his underbelly. Okay, easy enough right? Well, as I am sitting in the waiting room I hear my dog let out a scream. I asked the girl what happen and she said that she tried to comb out his f... read more
