I just read a review from a few months ago where the reviewer commented on declining quality of care and customer service. The reviewer felt the decline occurred after Dr. Tanner purchased the practice, upon Dr. Wraith's retirement. Dr. Tanner did not purchase the practice. It is no longer privately owned. I, too, have seen a drastic decline, and I have found another vet clinic. I just want to set the record straight.
I made appointment 2 weeks ago for an International Health Certificate. I came by the offices to show all my paperwork a week later to make sure no problems. The office staff was very nice. I recieved a call at 4.20 p.m. on Friday to tell me they were not going to do my Health Certifate for my dog 9.00 a.m. on Tuesday. I was told they could not help me. Please understand Saturday, Sunday, and Monday they are closed. Monday is a holiday. I needed to get it Tuesday at the latest so I could take my dog with me to the Philippine... read more
One of the vets who works here just wants to make money..... gave my dog multiple medications and didn't check her feces. She would rather over medicate my dog for extra cash than do her due diligence. Like other reviews mention, GET A SECOND OPINION. Don't recommend going here...
I started with this vet practice in the 80-90's way before Dr. Tanner joined the practice. After she joined, she treated all of my pets at various times when my other vet (Dr. Wraith) was not available. Every time I had to go in to see her, I shuddered to know that I had to work with her condescending attitude. She is a real pistol as she is quite the know-it-all and extremely arrogant. If there are other vets available in that office, my recommendation is that you schedule with them instead. Before Dr. Wraith retired, it w... read more
Overall, unimpressed with lack of customer service provided. Pandemic conditions aside, methods and practices need serious improvement and to the detriment of my dog's health. Brought my shelter rescue dog for a visit, who suffers from either spay incontinence or a urinary tract infection. The Vet and team took her in and ran tests quickly enough on a Thursday 8:30am appointment. However this is when things unraveled rather quickly. Next day, Friday, I called in learning the office has a low level phone system yielding a... read more
Came for an appointment for my dog and found their front doors locked. It's July 28th 2021 and they are still not open for in-person appointments "because covid"! How ridiculous is that? Get vaccinated or wear masks, but open up! I refuse to do the whole "hand over your dog at the parking lot and talk to the vet over the phone" dance - there is no reason to do it like that anymore. Will not come back until they return to normal procedure.
Last time we took our pup there they didn't have a problem coming out to the car to draw blood and cut our dogs nails. We took him there to check if he had a foxtail in his paw and had to medicate him beforehand. The doctor acted in a manner that would make any dog react, when she touched him he flinched so she threw her arms in the air and refused to check his paw or trim his nails. I am disgusted with the service and attitudes of the doctor and the assistant. They care more about money than your animal, I know this from pa... read more
I just had an appointment with them for my 3 month 3 weeks old puppy. When the nurse first came I put my puppy on the ground and she started to freak out a little after I told her the shots he had been given, were given to him by his previous owner from the feed. She told me she did not believed those work. But I have taken my puppy to Yosemite and other places and he's been fine. So I went along and got his shots with them. I contacted the previous owner and said he really trusts the shots he gives his dogs. (Paid top dol... read more
I went (a first appointment) to get a dental cleaning estimate for my dog. The vet, Demi Tanner, while examining my dog, decided to reach around to my side holding her and without any reason "adjust" her leg, which had NO issues with it for over 9 years. Within a few days after seeing Demi, my dog would not walk on it at all. I took her to an animal hospital nearby where I was told her injury was catastrophic and could not be repaired. She needs a doggie wheelchair for the rest of her life. That vet hospital purposely manipu... read more
