If you love your animal like a child then find another vet ASAP! Dr Tanner is rude, condescending and basically not meant to deal with people let alone animals. My dog is acutely aware of how awful she is and doesn't trust her as well. Once you have a doctor assigned to your case you aren't able to be helped by any other doctor - and if your prescriptions run out, GOOD LUCK on efficiency of getting refills handled or scripts faxed over without having to make several calls (and then being treated rudely because you're basica... read more
We really liked and valued the opinion of Dr. Vogle however it got to the point where we were being differed to seeing Dr. Tanner more often than not due to Dr. Vogle's schedule. Dr. Tanner rubbed me the wrong way the minute I met her by telling me our French Bulldog would most likely develop such a severe underbite we should consider dental procedures. Our puppy was 3 months old at the time and was barely starting to lose his puppy teeth... She then went on to say we should expect a lot of health problems with him due to ... read more
Our experience with Parkway has not been as good as other reviewers. We have been there several times with both our dogs. Each time we found that the Vet did not give us all the information we needed. For example, she does not give written instructions for post treatment care unless we demand it. And even so the information is sometimes incomplete. When we asked follow up questions she seems bothered that we are asking questions. On another occasion she removed my dog's toe nails when she had told me that she was trimmi... read more
The doctor was good with the pets, but she did not answer my questions sufficiently. Considering their prices for appointments, they should take at least a few minutes to discuss some concerns but they seem rushed once they've conducted general examinations. I requested that one of the other doctors become the 'primary' for my pet, which they agreed to, but still continued setting my appointments with the previous one. We ended up changing to a vet who was more responsive and had reasonable prices.
I have been going to this vet for a year now and haven't had very good experiences. I have to admit their staff is very helpful and easy to work with. They split my payments up for me to make it more manageable. I took my silky in to get vaccinated and they gave him 3 vaccinations in one day. He broke out in hives and swelled up. Luckily I had some children benedryl on hand and it helped out. They should know not to give 3 vaccinations in one day. I recently had a tumor removed from his skin. The tumor was not that large a... read more
We liked Dr. Vogel but never got to see her, so we changed vets. I just didn't hit it off with the other vet I ended up seeing in the office, and I had a hard time trusting the advice I got. I was told to give my dog two tablespons of hydrogen peroxide to induce vomiting, it really should have been two teaspoons. I was told I mistreated my dog for warfarin poisoning and that I gave the treatment for coumadin poisoning instead; warfarin is the same drug as coumadin. If my interactions had been with Dr. Vogel I probably w... read more
I have been going to this vet for 3 years. I forgot to pay my bill because I was out of town and now they are very rude and complacent. They did however send me to Bishop Ranch in my darkest hour and I fully appreciate that. I will not be returning to this veterinarian hospital, even of it was my last hope. There are much better vets out there but not in Dublin. Plus I found out the over charge for medication and office visits. One time Dr. Tanner tried to convince me that scar tissue where my dog had been hurt could be canc... read more
When my first chin got ill, I had to drive to Concord at 4am for an emergency vet. How excited was I to read this bio at a vet around the corner from my house. I was disappointed to learn that their website is a farce - "Dr. Tanner's professional interests include pocket pets (rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, mice and chinchillas) . . . . " but they do no such thing. I'm sure they are a great vet if you have a regular common pet. In this digital world, maybe they should fix that. Fortunately for them, chinchilla owners... read more
I have been to this vet on numerous occasions, and I found their help to be rude. After my last experience i will not return. They are more concerned with how much they will make off of you then the wellbeing of your pet. My dog was roughly handled and shoved around. They wanted to do un-needed tests as if it was a life or death matter.
