Doc was efficient and direct. I was just hoping to get out of my boot and he granted a trial. If pain worsens, he explained next steps. If not, I’m out! Glad not to hear “surgery” from a surgeon. They clearly see a lot of patients and if I were still having major concerns, I’d expect more time and attention than I got. As it were, the PA had cancelled my appointment at a closer location so this was a replacement in Oxford for same day. Was grateful to be seen.

100% satisfied! I work in healthcare so I realize a couple of things other reviewers may not 1. Dr Kerner works for a company that puts time limits on patient appts in order for physicians to see more patients within a short amount of time. 2. Dr Kerner is an orthopedic surgeon - surgeons are hit or miss with bedside manner. Dr Kerner was speedy (about 5 min) during all 3 of my visits (so far), but he was pleasant, knowledgeable, & direct. Of course, I thought of questions when he left the room, but I found the patient porta... read more

Dr. Kerner diagnosed and fixed my ankle. It's not 100%, but much better than before the surgery.

I was impressed with his knowledge and caring comments. He made suggestions that I put into practice at once. I am on a good healing path.

I am a retired orthopedic surgeon and a patient of Dr. Kerner. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone including my family members. He has a wealth of knowledge about orthopedics and especially in his specialty of foot and ankle.

My first ever visit with Dr Kerner was great. The time that I spent with him, though short and sweet, was very valuable. His overall disposition was very pleasant and I felt comfortable and very at ease during my visit. He had a sense of confidence which made what he was saying about my diagnosis receivable.

I have been going to Dr. Kerner for over 10 years. Ankle and knee problems. As far as I am concerned he has always done a fine job. Doesn't waste time. Gets to the point but also listens to what you have to say.

I saw Dr. Kerner due to foot and ankle pain from a running injury. He identified the problem quickly, thoroughly explained what was going on, and gave clear instructions on how to resolve the issue. He listened to all of my concerns and answered every follow up question I had too! I left the office with a really good understanding of my injury and what my next steps were. Dr. Kerner was also incredibly kind to my toddler and made him feel included in the appointment too!

The doctor came in and I could tell from the get go he was in a hurry. Asked how pain was, told him better but still hurts. Told a complete different diagnosis from previous doctor. As going out the door told me to take over the counter drug and lose weight due to my morbid obesity.
