Our 10 yo cockapoo, Spootie, tore her CCL while chasing a squirrel. She was running full speed then an abrupt stop and wouldn’t move. We took her to our local vet who suggested waiting a few weeks to see if it would resolve itself. After one week of seeing her in pain we searched for a surgeon skilled in TPLO surgery and found Dr. Denney at Pender Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Voell has been an absolute lifesaver for my Shih Tzu and our family during this challenging time. When my dog suffered a severe neck injury and spinal cord damage after jumping off the bed, we were devastated. The team at Pender diagnosed him and recommended that we transfer him to a neurologist and MRI center immediately. I was so anxious when I saw blood droplets in my dog’s poo, that I immediately called Pender and they were able to give me an appointment but also indicated that what I was already doing to calm Kamri’s diarrehea was the way to go. Still I kept the appointment and as always they took very good care of Kamri. We love the attention we get in Pender from the ones that answer our calls to technician as and vets. Thank You!

We brought our 16 yo cat in to discuss acupuncture, and were lucky enough to have her first treatment the same day. We are very appreciative of this flexibility, as she is on a lot of meds for pain and kidney disease. We appreciate pendercare having this alternative treatment option! It should be a 5 star, however I was shocked there were no calming towels available for our cat in the waiting room.
