First time using pender and could not be happier. Staff was great and so was the doc. Very happy we chose to drive a little farther to go here.
We've taken all of our dogs to Pender since 2007. The staff is top-notch. I'm so happy that Dr. Yung is our primary doctor. He's very compassionate, knowledgeable, and takes the time to explain things thoroughly. It's a pleasure working with him and his assistants.
I’ve been taking my cats to Pender for 20 years. It’s always been a terrific experience and the doctors have been really helpful and I love that they have 24-hour emergency care. However, very recently I took my cat in for his yearly checkup and rabies vaccinations. We saw the doctor on time (which I really appreciate) but the doctor came into the exam room, and didn’t introduce himself. Now I know it was Dr. Denney, whom I’ve heard great things. Best practice around hands down!!
Dr. Denny has been outstanding in his care, patience, and expertise in managing the vetting for 5 kittens we rescued in early July at a busy shopping center in Annandale, VA. We are so grateful for his kindness in helping this young feline family get ready for their adoptions into loving homes.
My pets have always been well cared for at Pender Hospital Fairfax. Dr. Adesso and Kristen were especially kind and very successful treating my scared boy Curtis. Much thanks!

Great doctors! Unfortunately, pender is way more business oriented than animal oriented. They care more about how they can generate more money from you rather than caring about you and your pet. Even some of the employees tell you this. It has nothing to do with affording or not. I still take my pets there but at the same time am considering another place. Again, great great doctors! They are awesome. It's just that their main focus is money.
My puppy broke her leg at 9 weeks old. Pender got us in quickly for surgery and as of yesterday, she's fully healed! I can't thank Dr. Denney and the Pender staff enough for all their help!
