Dr. Ryan Carney and the technicians that helped our Darla at her appointment were wonderful! They were very patient and so knowledgeable about all of the topics discussed. I appreciate their expertise so that we can keep Darla healthy and happy into the future. In addition, there are several features at the practice which are extremely convenient like being able to take care of the bill while still in the exam room and medications/prescription food info sent electronically to the ordering site. When our cat started to exhibit some sneezing and other symptoms, Pender ensured that we would be fitted in the next day. We met with Dr Voell who did a thorough examination with expertise and concern that was remarkable. He was professional, compassionate and informative. The staff was also very attentive and the entire process was reassuring. We cannot recommend Pender and Dr Voell more highly.
Very professional and knowledgeable staff. With a new puppy and an older dog, we have had some challenging situations to present to the staff at Pender, Fairfax. We’ve been taking our dog here for seven years, ever since we rescued her as a one year old. We have trusted and liked every individual working here, every tech and every doctor and everyone working at the front desk. My dog has her quirks, and we always worry about bringing her into other settings, but she is always calm and cooperative at the vet, which I think says a lot about how kind they are to her whenever we visit.
Dr. Voell is the best! He always takes time to listen to your concerns and handles my dogs with such gentle care. He is so compassionate and caring!
I have been with Pender veterinarian with Dr Denny for over 30 + years. I have been in trust him with all my animals throughout these years .with cats and service dogs German Shepherds primarily for all their medical care. Unfortunately I have had my own personal medical problems , which Dr. Denny has been very understandable Highly Recommend Patrice Drake
We have been taking our cats to the Pender Fairfax campus for several years now, and have always received excellent, very competent care during every aspect of our visit. From the front desk staff, to the techs, to the pharmacy, to the doctors- all are kind, professional, caring, and know their stuff. We’re always seen promptly and have never had any billing errors. Pender has been our veterinary clinic of choice for over 40 years. We currently have a 13-year-old Yorkie-Poo whose health is failing. Dr Yong Chang has shown so much love and concern for Gibson's quality of life and we couldn't be more grateful.
I don’t think there’s ever been a time that I’ve gone there with my dog that I’ve had a bad experience or felt unsure about my dog’s well being. Everyone is so professional and personable. I don’t have a specific veterinarian that I see when I go, I just book an appointment with whoever is available. That being said, all the vets that have worked with us are amazing.
