Regarding the best care for your furry babies and all pets I highly recommend Pendervet. The staff provides loving, caring support to your furries. The facility is exceptional and well equipped. Dr Denney and Kayla are kind, caring and compassionate with my dogs! I can’t say enough wonderful things about these two. Dr. Denney has been treating my animals for over 30 years which should speak volumes about his care of my pets. I have recently had the pleasure of meeting his assistant Kayla. She and Dr Denney make a fabulous team.

Pender saved my cat's life. My 1.5-year-old Scottish Fold got blocked. We rushed him to an emergency at a different vet clinic in the area. They helped, and we went home. Twenty-four hours later, he got another block. This time, the vets at that other hospital couldn't even insert a catheter. I was presented with two choices: 1. To decompress him and wait for surgery for several days (at a rate of $100/hour). 2. To euthanize. Thank heavens for Pender. Our 9 month old boy puppy, Brando, was the luckiest to have Pender Veterinary Centre - Fairfax save his life. Marcello and I are eternally grateful to all doctors, nurses, accountants, managers, and staff members! I can honestly say it was the most professional and kind animal hospital. I would give 10 stars if I could. Our hearts are full, Brando made a fantastic recovery after his surgery! Follow up appointment went great, he was greeted like family ( tail wags )! I’ve been taking my two cats to Pender Fairfax since 2007. In August I had to say goodbye to my 16yo Zoey and was feeling torn because I’d only used South Paws to say goodbye to my previous 17yo cat. Lap of Love was also recommended by a friend. Ultimately I chose Pender which ended up being the BEST decision. After Dr. Yong consulted with me, I asked to hold Zoey for a bit. Dr. Adesso is absolutely amazing. She takes the time to make sure my dog is comfortable with the room and surroundings before starting the treatment. She explains everything thoroughly and makes sure I understand everything that’s going on. I don’t have enough nice things to say about our experience with her :)
