There are literally not enough words to express how wonderful Pender vet is. I am an anxious pet parent, but every time I go I feel at ease. Every single staff member, vet, vet tech, front desk, seriously EVERY are kind and welcoming. They truly make me feel like my cat is the most important pet in the world to them. From check-in to check-out, this vet takes excellent care of our dog as well as excellent customer service. Our dog tends to be stressed. At Pender, she is not so stressed. Dr. Flannery is great. He is gentle and kind with her. He goes over everything with us. He explains the issue in a couple of ways then gives us options to address the issue. My pup loves Dr. Shearer. We have tried other vets but she reacts so differently around her than others. Dr. Shearer comes in with a calm demeanor and immediately gets down to establish a connection with her and because of that she reacts so differently and the appointment goes really well. My dog has picked her vet.

While Pender is not the least expensive Vet in the area, it more than makes up for it by the careful, detailed attention to the care of our cat. Dr Voell has gone out of his way to be proactive in the care of our cat and explains everything in detail. His manner is professional and friendly and spends sufficient time to ensure that we understand what we need to do to optimize the cat's health. I cannot recommend Pender, Dr Voell and the staff more highly.
