Dr. Hyatt and Tiffany were very attentive and provided outstanding expertise in helping us with a difficult diagnosis for our oldest cat. Dr. Hyatt and Tiffany spend a lot of time taking ex-rays and bloodwork to help us figure out Misty's condition. We are extremely grateful for the care they were able to provide to Misty and for helping us through this phase of her life.

I'm very glad I found PENDER veterinary center right at the moment my 5 year old cat - Tim - needed help most! We went over all the necessary tests and monitoring and got urinal bladder surgery in 3 days to remove urinal stones to save Tim from further pains and urinal health conditions. Surgery went well and Tim stayed in a clinic overnight to be monitored after the surgery for 24hrs - no issues/symptoms. We've been discharged next morning back to our home. In December 2025 I had to run a very fast search for a knowledgeable/trustworthy veterinary center/hospital to run a surgery for my 5 year old male cat who started to collect urinary stones as they got created from crystals we treated back in September 2025. I brought my 5-year-old cat to Pender on Tuesday after she lost her appetite and developed severe, uncontrollable leaking diarrhea with a very foul smell. I also clearly explained that she had severe inflammation in her anal area and could not sit due to pain. After a visit costing over $360, I was sent home with anti-vomiting pills, anti-diarrhea pills, and a probiotic, despite how serious her condition was. We love the care our pets have gotten from he vets for decades, essecially, Dr. denny. IOnour last visit, however, we were charged $37 for nail clipping of our dog - and they werne't even done right. They charged us $37, which is way over the fair market price (compared to $25 we were charged last time), without telling us the price first. I've been coming here for 20 years and have 100% faith in Dr. Hyatt My rating today is low, due to the unsatisfactory interaction that I had with the Vet Technician on Friday, September 19th. The minute I met her she had an attitude, and was disrespectful to me. I had to ask to see another Vet Technician. Pender needs to make sure the Vet Technicians and Front Desk Staff treat their customers with respect. I do not want this Vet Technician to every treat my dog. Pender is amazing at emergencies and surgery! I have a problem with some of the technicians. I have an anxious older dog. One of the vets took the time to write very specific instructions for how to handle her. They must never read them because techs always bring her back to me extremely agitated, saying they couldn’t do all procedures. She is more afraid of going to the vet because of this. Looking elsewhere.

Very bad experience with technicians. I am coming to Pender for more than 2 years, but this time have to return without vaccination service for my dog. Technicians who took my pet for the Vaccination in lab area, did not know how to handle large dog and tried to put muzzle on him during the vaccination which created panic situation to the dog because he is not used to the muzzle. I have to take reappointment with Vet for the vaccination again and it was sheer waste of my time.
