Terrible company with no customer service. Taking advantage of people and lying is their game. Look up the class action lawsuit for ruining people's credit for a start... then read some of the 1 star reviews from real penny Mac customers like myself who have been royally screwed over by them and overcharged. Find a real lender and save yourself the trouble.

Horrible experience with Penny Mac. This company is the most incompetent team of screw ups I have ever encountered. My mortgage is wayyy higher than I signed for after they completely screwed up my escrow account and claim they sent me a refund check I never received, then upped my mortgage by hundreds. Simply ridiculous. Zero customer service and Account manager Keith Russel will not reach out regarding my account and has lied saying he has called multiple times. I brought my house in 2014, When i first had Pennymac , they were not my fav peoples hwoever, when i refiance my home in 2020 (covid years best time ) , I must say Penny mac has become my fav, Now that i was facing financial issue in 2022, I apply for forbearance loan, they helped me and my famiyl so much , I must said they have been so helpful and so great with everything , now my family and i are good in Financial and we are back making oayment. My Aunt left me a very small house when I was 17. I have owned 9 houses since then. And Pennymac has to be "the Keystone Cops of Mortgage Companies" what a bunch of "Not on the RIght Page Team" they are HORRIFIC AT BEST AND THERE IS NO "HELP OR SOUP FOR YOU AT THIS GROSS MORTGAGE COMAPANY" who owns this anyway some rich Malabiu that also has stock in Mutual of Omaha which i beleive the two guys that started Mutual of Omaha are rolling in their graves since MUTUAL OF OMAHA DOES NOT DEAL WITH VETERANS OR ANYONE MENTALLY ILL TH... read more
