It’s very difficult to get ahold of your loan manager. The worst part about the process was how unclear everything it and you have no communication on how things are going or where you are in the process. I started my refinance process and a month later found out it was canceled because they had messed up the information. When I called to check they told me I had to start all over again so I did, when I did the terms had changed and I had to pay 500$ extra for the inspection and I didn’t before. I was told we would receive an phone update each week through the process and that did not happen. I had to call to get any info at all. I never spoke to Candace. When I did call in the people I spoke to were friendly and apologetic but the info they gave me was not always accurate and there was never any follow up to make sure I was informed. I thought the process would be fairly simple since Pennymac held our existing loan but that was not the case. I am glad that it is over but I would not recommend Pennymac.
