Ok is what I have
I was told we would receive an phone update each week through the process and that did not happen. I had to call to get any info at all. I never spoke to Candace. When I did call in the people I spoke to were friendly and apologetic but the info they gave me was not always accurate and there was never any follow up to make sure I was informed. I thought the process would be fairly simple since Pennymac held our existing loan but that was not the case. I am glad that it is over but I would not recommend Pennymac.

Closing was sooner than expected.
I was going to refinance with someone else then I received a letter from Penny Mac about refinancing and I called I was quite please with the Info I got and from everything went well and my Son is looking to buy and I already told him about Penny Mac.
Jasmine did an acceptable job however I will not likely recommend PennyMac because of the lack of communication from Shalimar and the rest of the team. Shalimar did not answer questions in a timely manner and filled out our application wrong despite me correcting her on the initial phone call. When I addressed her error not being fixed messed up our cash to close and amount we were able to get out of our refinance she simply said "well that's ok". It was easy to complete. There were some hiccups but we worked through them.
