For how much Pet Paradise charges, I was unfortunately very disappointed with the service we received. During my trip, I checked on my dog via the web cam service consistently, and he got maybe 15 minutes of play time twice a day, which is far less than what Pet Paradise promises. We took Rocket here for almost a year before we were told we weren't allowed back after being 8 minutes late to pick him up on a Sunday. When my husband Josh dropped Rocket off that morning, the manager Roger told Josh they were overbooked (had 150 dogs there that day) and that they couldn't guarantee Rocket any time outside. I have used this facility for boarding in the past and been happy. This past August I boarded 3 of my dogs. I left specific instructions in writing and in person on how my dogs were to be fed, play time, and signed up for daily updates (which I paid for) . My instructions were not followed. They put my older dog in general play time when he wasn't supposed to go with other dogs. They fed all three dogs together when they were asked to be separated to eat. I would avoid this place like the plague, as it is CRAWLING with fleas. Dropped my pup off for day care and after two hours was notified that he had fleas on him, very weird considering he has been at numerous doggy day cares the week prior, but had never caught this before. Well fast forward to the following week when we were having our place fogged.... when I went pick him up, there was Litterally hundreds of larva in his hair where fleas had left their eggs. This place is complete trash. I picked my dog up after boarding them for a few days. And my dog was covered in dog s**t. My dog has been potty trained for years. I understand accidents happen or even maybe he was sick to his stomach,but the amount of dog s**t on my dog was ridiculous. They sent updates every day and did not mention anything. I booked a grooming appointment two weeks ago and arrived today only to be told I had no appointment. They claimed my appointment was for the 29th but I got no call on the 29th. I have used this place for 15 years and if I am 10 minutes late to my appointment the groomer is calling me. No service recovery attempted. No asking me about my plans for the dogs for the day. I called and walked into Pet Paradise on two occasions to ask the staff if they are able to provide insulin medication to my kitty. Both times I was told yes the manager administers insulin to all the diabetic pets that stay at Pet Paradise Las Colinas. I then went ahead and booked a stay for my kitty over the weekend as I was going out of town. I came to this resort about a month ago and had a tour with a tall white man that went well and was informed my dog would be out in play groups. I watched the live webcam and rarely seen my dog outside for about forty minutes. Let alone three hours. When I came to speak to a manager I seen her sitting in her office I am really upset that my dog didn't get all the play time she gets. I will never come back to this resort again. The management service sucked.
