I almost forgot to leave a Yelp review -- they definitely deserve every one of these 5 stars! We have a 130 lb Great Pyrenees and a 60 lb mutt that are spoiled to death. Leaving them somewhere that is not within our friends care is a big deal to us. My Jake may be a scary looking pitbull, but that is far from the truth and the wonderful people at Pet Paradise gave him the benefit of any doubt. One look at him with his tail wagging and they began to love on him and let me hang around to observe (just like I did on my two legged kids first day of school). I was very hesitant to leave him with anyone but they gave me a tour and a free "day care" trial run and I truly felt comfortable and confident leaving him there. Boarded my dog there over night and was happy to see how nice the staff was and how helpful they were. This was my first time ever boarding my pup so I had a hundred question (ha ha). I dropped her off right when they opened at 6:30am and they told me I could call and check on her. So I waited almost all day and called around 1:30pm (that's almost 7 hours later) and they told me that she hadn't been out yet, therefore they didn't have a report to give. I love this place!!! I have been taking my fur babies here for years and they are fantastic. The staff is friendly and helpful. You can really tell that they love the animals and enjoy taking care of them. I never worry when I leave them here. My dogs actually come home very tired because of all of the fun and exercise they get. My dogs get VERY excited when I tell them that they are going to vacation because that's what they know Pet Paradise as. Sometimes I think they would drive the car there themselves if they could. Pet Paradise is one of the most professionally run businesses I have encountered in Tallahassee. The manager went out of her way to make my pup feel at home for the duration of her stay, and even provided Twitter and Facebook updates several times a day (often mentioning my dog by name or providing pictures of her during play time). Pet Paradise is a little higher in price than most boarding establishments, but it is well worth the extra money! I highly recommend adding on the "take home bath" option! I needed paw pad fur removed from my Maine Coon's feet, and was fine with them getting the mats from his nape. When I picked him up a few hours later, he looked like he'd just come out of surgery because most of the fur was shaved off around his neck! Just a couple of snips with scissors and combing it out is all that is needed, and what I usually do. They also shaved halfway up his two back legs! PAW. PAD. FUR. Guess where that fur is. Terrible. I dropped my puppy off and not even 3 hours later they said she couldnt walk. They first offered to take her to the vet themselves but i came and did it myself and just missed my trip. They refused to take responsibility for her bills even tho she got injured in their care. Do not leave your dog here.

SENT US HOME WITH THE WRONG DOG!!!!! We dropped both of our dogs off for one day and picked them up today. When we get home, one of the dogs (chocolate lab) was completely freaked out and wasn't recognizing us and we were sure the dog was not ours. Our cat was hissing at it. We loaded the dog back into the car immediately and took it back.
