i assumed after all the raving reviews that my dog would be in good hands here while my husband and i got married and went on our honeymoon but i was severely disappointed. first of all, when i scheduled our dog to stay there (for 11 days), i sent them all the requested documents proving that he was up to date on his shots. i even called back to verify that they had received them. then, the day of my wedding, which was also the day my husband would be dropping him off, i received an email (not even a phone call) instructing ... read more

Unfortunately, this place has gone down hill big time since being taken over. The prices are sky high and day care is NOT included in boarding, except for $$$$$. So if you don't want to pay the extra $25 a day (Over $50 A DAY with day care play time), your dog gets to sit in a crate for 20 hours with no activity. Also no more toys or blankets allowed, which can be hard for dogs with separation anxiety. It's hard to describe how disappointed I am with the new corporate owners.

"DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR DOG" New to Woodstock area, and have tried this place out twice. The first time was with one groomer who actually called me and said all of his clean-up had been done (anal glands, ears, pottied area, ect..) This girl Lauren actually had the audacity to call me throughout the day and give me " in depth details about this stuff" when I arrived nothing at all had been done. No anal glands expressed, no ear cleaning, no pottied trim, NOTHING. (These things can cause serious health issues if ... read more
With working in the city and my wife traveling for work occasionally, we needed a place to take our puppy a couple times a week to get energy out and to not keep him penned up all day at home. Bark Station was close and I liked the brand plus the ability to check-in during the day on webcams. They offer separate group play care for small and large dogs, which was great until the last couple of months. We started bringing our dog as an unneutered puppy...advised by our vet and breeder to wait for a year. No worries...Bark St... read more

I saw all the great reviews for this place and decided to try it. I called earlier in the day and made an appointment to get him bathed. I told the lady that my dog was 10 days overdue on his vaccinations. They told me they had a 30 day grace period and it was OK for me to bring him in. I showed up later in the afternoon with my hundred pound dog and I was told there was no grace period. I understand the vaccination rule But had I been told the correct Information up front I would not have been so upset! I wish they had the... read more

I'm not a fan. The lobby always stinks, so I can only imagine what it smells like in the dog area. The staff is not exactly friendly. Check out the cameras - there are a TON of dogs in a small confined area. We've been several times, hoping it would get better each time, and it does not. Neighbors rave about this place, but I don't get it. At $20/day, it's the cheapest in town, but saving a few bucks is not worth it when there are 2-3 better options in the same area.
This place is very nice and clean. They treat the dogs well. However, they do not treat the people so well. I dropped my puppy off early in the morning, and requested that she have a bath (which is almost required or they'll come home covered in other dogs' slobber) before I picked her up at 3:30, which they agreed to and I paid for. But later on, I was told I could leave work earlier than expected, so I, out of respect, called them an hour an a half before 1:30 and informed them of my new plans and asked if I could have my ... read more
I took both of my dogs here for a daycare evaluation. They did great, and the owner told us they were adorable and could come any time. When I called for a daycare appointment several months later I was told that one of my dogs was "traditional" boarding only. I was dumbfounded, and knew there must be a mistake. I asked why and the owner, Wes, said that according to his "notes" my dog was aggressive. Actually, what he read back to me were my own application comments stating not to board my two in the same little kennel as th... read more
