I ordered flowers from Piccolos for Valentine's Day, but they weren't delivered. I'd used them many times before and thought it was odd, in the past they have had no problem leaving them on our porch. I called to let them know this and the woman who answered was very apologetic, she upgraded the order and said it would be delivered the next day. Except they never came. I wish I could give them zero stars as they are awful. Long story short. Husband ordered flowers in person, paid and was very specific. They didn't bother to deliver them and then lied about saying that they tried. We were home and within view of the front door all day. Finally the next day they delivered flowers that were at least 3 days old. Already wilting in some areas. The worst part of the entire experience is the customer service received was horrible. I ordered from Piccolo's (now at 8335 Maple) because they are only 10 minutes from the recipient's Omaha home, and I read nothing bad about them. On the PLUS side: It was super easy to order online. Why ALL florists don't have a web presence stumps me. The website was easy to navigate and the order was easy to make. I even found a $5 promo code on http://Retailmenot.com. Also a plus, the arrangement was beautiful, though it didn't contain all eight stems (I upgraded to the "Deluxe" which boasted 8 stems instead of 6 ... read more
My parents ordered flowers for my father-in-law's funeral. The flowers were never delivered. Of course, they tried to get their money back but were told that the deliverer's word was more credible than the customers. The manager essentially called my father a liar. They were not given a refund. Never again will I use Piccolo's and neither should you.
I am very disappointed with the corsage my daughter ordered from this location, for prom. Wilted and skimpy, and too late to reorder somewhere else.
