My dog Checkers absolutely loves boarding here, we even made them our veterinarian! The care takers have a real genuine relationship with my pup and love what they do which is obvious since my dog quickly runs off with them when I drop her off. And Renee and his fellow groomers are excellent as well, my dog looks shoe ready after every trip!

I was looking around the South Bay for a place to board my two pups. I visited and toured a half dozen places and nearly gave up. On a recommendation by my friend I came to plaza. From the moment I stepped in I was blown away. I was greeted by friendly and professional staff, the place was cleaner and smelled better than the others. Still taking my dog Cookie to Del Amo because they are the best...my dog tells me so. Yelp doesn't feel this is long enough to be a review? The truth is always a good review in my opinion!

My sister and I drove our Maple an hour from our place to put her in the in boarding here and they did not disappoint! Sherri was extremely helpful and kind over the phone when guiding me on what documents were needed & Dolores was very easy to talk to when we arrived and helped us with ease getting Maple ready for her stay. Maple stayed in the "Winnie the Pooh" luxury boarding cottage. It's not a brand new facility but it's very charming, clean, and spacious! I am a baby kitten foster for a shelter. The adopter of one of my babies, Mimi, an 8 week old orphan kitten, was brought to Plaza Del Amo Animal Hospital to see Dr. Jennifer Ogino, DVM. Mimi fell ill several days ago, and was found to have a high fever and dehydration. Dr. Ogino was so caring and thorough, it gave me confidence that Mimi was in good hands. I had a fantastic experience here. All of the lovely ladies working here were so helpful and kind, and Dr. Odigo and staff all provided great service to our injured border collie. The cost was not at all prohibitive or extravagant and all was explained very clearly. It's painless making same-day appointments, and I never felt like they were trying to swindle us. :) Will definitely return here for my pet needs!

Service, Commitment to Helping and Caring for your Pets - they don't just do the work they go the distance in caring for your pet and keep you informed in understanding there needs of your pet. Best care ever! Whenever I bring my cat in, they know both my name and my cat's name. We are expected and not just a number! My last cat went here for 18 years, due to the love and caring he received. I believe that's why he lived so long. Got a beautiful card and paw prints keepsake when he finally passed away. Saw Dr. Benton, then Dr. Moeller. Dr. Benton was with me when we finally had to put Winslow down due to a rapid pancreatic cancer spread. They were always so very kind to him and me. Welcoming conscientious staff for the most part who treats each patient and pet owner in a personable concerned manner allowing plenty of time for any questions it discussions,... never felt rushed in and out. They're a bit pricey but i guess quality has a cost The pet boarding area is ok, the amount of space could probably be a little larger and make times for the cats to be able to spend time in a cat area with room to walk and climb for more than 15 minutes.
