My sweet boy crossed the bridge back in late 2019. Since then I've been taking our other dogs to the pet clinic that is closer to our home. There is no comparison and I miss the great folks at Plaza del Amo. If I'm able to convince my husband to make the drive (6-8miles), I hope to return and become a customer again.
We have been taking our dogs here for 3 years now. All of the vets we have seen have been great. They are responsive and you can tell they care!
I recently had to put down my 18 year old dog. She was previously cared for by Dr. Moeller and Dr. Ogino here at Plaza Del Amo. The animal hospital accommodated us and allowed myself and my mother to be present during the procedure. They were all extremely patient, caring and overall, extremely understanding. They provided water, tissues and a room for us to spend time with Bubbles until we were ready to say goodbye. We chose this hospital based on Yelp but also liked the Vet's credentials. They were attentive, kind and very thorough. Our 8week old puppy got sick and the Vet's attention really saved her! We saw Dr Child's and Dr Ogino- both professional, caring, excellent bedside manner - most of all our puppy got better!

I was in search of a new vet (after years' worth of terrible experiences at both my pets' previous vet) and I can honestly say they are so amazing! You can feel what proper and genuine pet care is. While I am new to this clinic (and considering the curbside service due to COVID), I have had nothing but excellent service, even if all of it has been by phone. Dr. Ogino is probably the best vet I've ever been to. She is knowledgeable and informs without condescension, and without being fear-mongering, which is difficult to find in veterinarians. However, the staff is disorganized and has been problematic. They failed to inform me that they didn't have records for the rabies vaccination for my dog until AFTER I had already arrived for curbside drop off. They are amazing! I needed an appointment for and they worked with my schedule to fit me in! They are so accommodating and I love all the docs! They treat my cats with compassion and care! Definitely reccomend them!
