I found these Plaza Del Amo Hospital through yelp. I first contacted another Vet and wanted to schedule my new puppy for an exam. They said they can do it 7 days later. I said.. ummm na.. they said okay and hanged up. Then I saw these guys next so I called. And from the very first greeting, the front desk was so warm and genuinely caring right off the bat. For cats, I highly recommend Michelle Moeller. This recent situation was my second time coming to Plaza Del Amo. Once for a urinary issue, and this time because my cat ate a large amount of string (but we did not know that at the time). The physical exam and general interest in my cat's history was SO thorough. When I told Michelle about the lily I had in my house briefly, she immediately knew to begin checking for signs of poisoning. Dr. Ogino is AMAZING with our little pit mix, who can sometimes be a tad barky upon arrival at the vet. She's taken such good care of her when we've had to go in -- so much so that we drive to Plaza Del Amo from West Hollywood! The staff is also very friendly and when we did have an issue with a different doctor (who is no longer at the office) after an emergency appointment, Lisa, the practice manager, took care of us right away. I don't often write Yelp reviews. In fact, this is my first one! I felt inclined to do so because of the outstanding care I'm receiving from Dr. Ogino at Plaza Del Amo. We've been trying to figure out why my sweet doggie, Miss Daisy, isn't herself lately. Dr. Ogino conducted comprehensive diagnostics and also took x-rays. She put her on a better food plan and nutritional meds and slowly Miss Daisy is returning to her normal happy self. Dr. Ogino continues to check in regularly to see how Miss Daisy is doing! My dog Checkers absolutely loves boarding here, we even made them our veterinarian! The care takers have a real genuine relationship with my pup and love what they do which is obvious since my dog quickly runs off with them when I drop her off. And Renee and his fellow groomers are excellent as well, my dog looks shoe ready after every trip!

I was looking around the South Bay for a place to board my two pups. I visited and toured a half dozen places and nearly gave up. On a recommendation by my friend I came to plaza. From the moment I stepped in I was blown away. I was greeted by friendly and professional staff, the place was cleaner and smelled better than the others. Still taking my dog Cookie to Del Amo because they are the best...my dog tells me so. Yelp doesn't feel this is long enough to be a review? The truth is always a good review in my opinion!
