Absolutely the best animal hospital around.1st of all i just want to thank all the staff and the vet that took care of us.our family had the hard decision to put one of our beloved dogs to sleep(Rocky) and they made this very tuff and sad decision so much easier and did everything they could to comfort and reassure us we were making the right decisions.on top of all the emotional support they went above and beyond.we decided to have him cremated and to keep the ashes.we received him back early and not only that but they took... read more

I found Plaza Del Amo Animal Hospital & Pet Keeper through Yelp! and I'm so glad I did! What started out as a desperate search for a place to board my dog due to a family emergency... led to my dog's Cushings diagnosis. All pets require a physical prior to their first time boarding-- it was during this exam that Dr Lexy Sinnot first noticed something "off" with my dog (i.e. pot belly, skin lesions, and slight balding). This was the first time I tried this Vet for our new puppy and so far everything was explained to me in detail what he needed and what was recommended. He is now up to date on his vaccinations and will be coming back soon for microchip. The staff was friendly, office was clean, Doctor was informative and there was plenty of parking. I will update in the future since my little guy will need future check ups.

I found these Plaza Del Amo Hospital through yelp. I first contacted another Vet and wanted to schedule my new puppy for an exam. They said they can do it 7 days later. I said.. ummm na.. they said okay and hanged up. Then I saw these guys next so I called. And from the very first greeting, the front desk was so warm and genuinely caring right off the bat. For cats, I highly recommend Michelle Moeller. This recent situation was my second time coming to Plaza Del Amo. Once for a urinary issue, and this time because my cat ate a large amount of string (but we did not know that at the time). The physical exam and general interest in my cat's history was SO thorough. When I told Michelle about the lily I had in my house briefly, she immediately knew to begin checking for signs of poisoning. Dr. Ogino is AMAZING with our little pit mix, who can sometimes be a tad barky upon arrival at the vet. She's taken such good care of her when we've had to go in -- so much so that we drive to Plaza Del Amo from West Hollywood! The staff is also very friendly and when we did have an issue with a different doctor (who is no longer at the office) after an emergency appointment, Lisa, the practice manager, took care of us right away.
