Take my dog Levi here to board , he's been boarding here off and on over 3 years maybe, but anyway they are always friendly ...and I feel at ease leaving my dog with them cause he is a frenchie with some anxiety. They listen to any concerns I may have, and it's great that some actually have come to know him overtime . I love how they text updates and pics on how the pet is doing also ! Thank you Plaza Del Amo
Dr Child is the best! she takes care of Buster and makes us feel safe. We trust her completely. The rest of the team is wonderful too. The techs are sweet with my dog, when he is shaking with fear they can calm him down. I would never take Buster any where else.
I had to give a shout out to the team at Plaza Del Amo Animal Hospital for making Bear's boarding a great experience for the both of us. Since Covid Bear has been my companion while my husband is away at work. I have grown so attached to him . My last kid was leaving for campus so I had to find some place last minute. This team was so gracious, followed Covid regulations and just made my overall trip better. They sent photos and just overall helped calm my nerves. My first time boarding and it will not be my last.
Because I haven't used the veterinary services, I can only speak to the boarding services. Speaking for myself, since my cat can't tell me, I recommend this place. I called ahead and got a tour of the facilities before boarding my cat here. It was the only facility I had visited where the cat condos were plexiglass versus metal wire cages. Just wanted to give a shout out to Dr. Fay and team. My dog (I think) stepped on a bee (first time so I didn't know what to do) and I went to ACCESS (near my house) where they said it would be several hours if not days before my dog would be treated. I called Plaza Del Amo and they were very booked up for the day but said I could drop my dog off and the doctor would treat her in between her scheduled appointments. I've been coming here with my fur babies for over a dozen years. I'm so grateful for their staff sad vet team. I am struggling with my 14 year old Jack Russell's mobility and they're helping me with options and resources to best address our doggie.
I have been bringing my dog pumpkin here for about 2 years now and honestly each time I do I am so floored by how kind, caring and helpful the entire staff is. They are very accommodating, but busy. So make sure you make an appointment at a decent time if your pet needs to be seen. They ALWAYS call back, which is something that surprised me. This is the BEST animal hospital I've ever been to! Lezzie was our room vet assistant during our first visit, and she was super sweet and gentle with my pet! Very welcoming and kind along with the rest of the staff (Ana, the vet assistant, is immensely caring and knowledgable). Dr. Child is AMAZING.
