About this business

PM Pediatric Care came to life in 2005, when Dr. Jeffrey Schor and Steven Katz — college roommates who went on to pursue careers in medicine and business — wanted to create an alternative to the emergency department and a friendly environment designed exclusively for children and young adults. Since then, PM Pediatric Care has expanded across the country with the mission to improve healthcare access, quality, and service. To date, we have seen over 4 million patients, treating everything from asthma attacks to sports injurie... read more

The Dr. we saw was good but other than that, it was a mess. The nurse gave twice the medication that a child with our child’s weight should have. We were told that she got confused between 48lb and 48kg (i.e, 105lb). This is not an acceptable mistake for an urgent care clinic that specializes in children. Also, we did not see the doctor for 50 minutes after our scheduled appointment time. It was also strange that the front desk has a place for electronic signatures but does not even show you the forms that they say you a... read more

I had an appointment scheduled for 12:15. I arrived on time, and there was only one other patient in the waiting room. However, I wasn’t called in until 1:15. A nurse then took me to a room, where I had to wait an additional 45 minutes for the doctor. If patients are required to schedule appointments, they should be seen on time or with a reasonable delay—no more than 20 minutes. Waiting for such a long time in urgent care, especially with a sick 3-year-old child, is unacceptable.

Wait too long even have an appointment. Disappointed that the doctor did not to check to see how bad for the skin problem. Just came and sent the prescription to the pharmacy.

We love PM Pediatrics for our littles. The staff is amazing working with the kids. My biggest complaint is the wait time. We've been to PM Pediatrics a few times, however, it's hit or miss on wait times. This time, we waited well over 75 mins to be seen and then another 30 mins to see the doctor. Entertaining a 1 year old for that amount of time, especially a 1 year old that doesn't feel good, is not easy. This isn't the first time we've had an hour wait, and while it is extremely frustrating, the pediatric care will keep me... read more

Appointment was at 4:45. Wasn’t seen until 5:40. Didn’t leave until 6:25. What is the point of scheduling an appointment? If I showed up an hour late I wouldn’t been seen. This created at lot of stress as I was late picking up my other child as I wasn’t expecting this appointment to be two hours- hence the reason I made a 4:45 appointment thinking it would be plenty of time to get my other child by 6:30.

Disappointing Experience with Late-Night Care I am writing to express my disappointment with the care my child received during a recent visit. On the night in question, my baby was experiencing a cough, runny nose, and congestion, and I brought her to your office at approximately 10:45 PM. I was aware the office closed at 11:00 PM, but I was informed by Lisa Rodriguez that my child could not be seen because it was "too late" and would require the staff to stay past closing time. Despite the fact that it was not yet 11:00 P... read more

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!!!!This place deserves 0 stars, why advertise “no appointment needed” literally I scheduled an appointment got there early and still had to wait two hours so what is the difference between scheduling appointment and walk in. And the customer service is the worst, staff is unethical and rude and shows no empathy what so ever. Do not bring your children here, this place is a torture. Like if a child is not feeling well, they have to wait 2-3 hours more suffering in pain. I don’t recommend this plac... read more

We waited for three hours with our sick and distressed 6-year-old, who had a 104°F fever, before being seen by anyone. When we asked the front desk why others were being called ahead of us, we were told that patients with online reservations were given priority over walk-ins. This system is completely ridiculous and unacceptable. Horrible business model!
