Easy assembly, no tools needed. Easy to set up and use right out of the box. Light years ahead of my old pool robot. Highly recommended.
I had a hole in my safety cover over the winter, and a huge amount of silt and leaves/pine needles were in the pool. The entire bottom of the pool was covered with at least a fine covering of dirt. The 8050 cleaned the debris up nicely, and the filter was very easy to clean. Much nicer than my defunct xxxxxDX. But it took the 8050 six iterations before it covered the entire pool. Its ok. I had a Hayward 500 which conked out so got the Polaris 8050. Delivered today. Had a lot of fine sediment at the bottom of the pool and doesn't seem to pick it up. Hayward had a cloth filter. Pain to clean but did a better job. Is there another option to remove fine sediment?
I have used it twice. It does as advertised. If you own a pool, this is the cleaner to have. It does a great job.
This is my second Polaris and I believe them to be the best pool cleaner on the market. Does the job every time and simple to operate and clean. I tried a competitor once and they do not hold a candle to Polaris.

The cleaner works great!! Keeps our pool sparkling clean & is easy to put in and remove from pool. Very pleased. Well worth the money :)
Great machine, just wish the cycle would last more than two hours.
