Its ok. I had a Hayward 500 which conked out so got the Polaris 8050. Delivered today. Had a lot of fine sediment at the bottom of the pool and doesn't seem to pick it up. Hayward had a cloth filter. Pain to clean but did a better job. Is there another option to remove fine sediment?

Your cleaner comes with a General Purpose filter, but you can purchase part #R0632700 Polaris Fine Debris Filter or part #R0632702 Polaris Ultra Fine Debris Filter from your local pool retailer. I have used it twice. It does as advertised. If you own a pool, this is the cleaner to have. It does a great job.

This is my second Polaris and I believe them to be the best pool cleaner on the market. Does the job every time and simple to operate and clean. I tried a competitor once and they do not hold a candle to Polaris.

It doesn't seem to be able to climb up the walls like my older Polaris did that connected to the side of the pool. Plus I preferred the water circulating through the filter as it cleaned out more of the fine sediment.
