I’ve only used it a couple of times. It cleans really good and I like the caddy that came with it. The only improvement I can see at this point is to find a better way to keep the cord from getting tangled up.

So far so good was getting stuck on the drain first couple of times I used it but now seems to get unstuck fairly quick without any help.

I researched the heck out of these. The benefit of Polaris v Dolphin, was that Polaris has "Buy before you try" program...so my local pool guy, Don Marcum's of Newtown, OH loaned me a demo unit for a week. I ended up loving this thing after 90 minutes...paid $900 + tax...best $900 I've spent in a while. I have a gunite pool. I also emailed Polaris the device working on gunite, they responded pretty quick. I emailed Maytronics (Dolphin), and they never emailed me back. They also don't have loaner units. I have a 20x40 pool . The 3 ft end is never cleaned by cleaner good. It is easy to clean unit out when done

As for the 3-foot area in your pool, there are a few suggestions: 1) Ensure the cleaner is on Floor and Wall mode to enable it to climb steep slopes. 2) Ensure there is no microscopic algae built up on the slope to the shallow end. The robotic cleaner does a great job. It picks up leaves, sand and any other debris that may be on the floor.
