Polaris MAXX Suction Pool Cleaner
I had an earlier version (MX8) and loved it. After about 8 years it stopped being as effective and it was time for a new one. I'm more than happy with the life I got out of the MX8. The new one is even better, similar, but a bit better in almost every way. Assuming it also lasts a decent time, I'll be back for whatever version they have in the next decade. Solidly recommended.

Pool cleaner works great. I have had other suction-side pool cleaners that did not work as well. I am a former pool repairman, so I know a thing or two. The Maxx works great, but I do hope that I don't spend too much money replacing worn internal parts in coming months or years. There are a lot of moving parts that can wear out. But, it does work great

Love this thing. It works great. At around the 2yr mark it’ll start bugging down. Don’t repair it, it’s better to replace it as even with new parts there is play on all the plastic housing. It does what it is supposed to. Just know to not expect more than 2 years out of this in my personal experience.
