Thank you pool supply world Fast shipping , my Pentair push connections were not the same as the Polaris but that really didn't matter , easy to connect , just make sure your old unit runs 220v other wise you'll need to switch some wires around , still not hard to do , it's a little more quite than the Old Hayward pump definitely 10 times better than Pentair , I've never seen the sweep hit the shallow end of the pool like it does now. Happy Customer .
Perfect replacement After about 10 years and a seal replacement, my old booster pump started to leak again. My pool guy said to buy a new one rather than repair again as the labor and parts would nearly cover the pump cost. Pump arrived quickly and was a perfect drop in replacement. Took about an hour to take the old one out and replace it. Would take less time if not in such a hard to get to location. Replace 2 hoses and push on the electrical terminals and you are done. Best price / fast delivery Exact replacement of failed unit. Arrived a week earlier than expected - ground delivery seems to take 5-7 days, but this unit was here on 2nd day! Came pre-wired for 220V, so it was Plug&Play swap out. Very easy install kit - needed augmentation with 1 1/2 inch connectors (easily obtained from any hardware store - adaptation may vary depending on installation). Easily converted to 120V operation by following diagram on pump. Overall - very happy with PoolSupplyWorld.com
Excellent Product & Price Bought this to replace another booster pump (same/simular to the Polaris) that quit working after a number of years. My sister and I (2-industrial girls) replaced this motor by ourselves, so if we can do it, you can too!! Just be careful out there and make sure the electricity is turned off when wiring the motor. We took photos of the wiring on the old motor and made sure we had them wired exactly the same way. Of course the wiring schematics are on the label of the motor. Love it One gentlemen review gave me the courage to install this bad boy myself. He said that if you had some mechanical knowledge this would be an easy install and it was. I just save over 400 dollars installing it myself. I took my time to make sure I had all my ducks in a row but in the end, it all worked out. The pump is running great thanks.
