Easy Peasy All you need comes with product. Removed defective motor and installed new in less than 30 minutes
Easy to swap by yourself After everything froze, I had to replace a previous model and it turned out to be very easy to do. Just be careful as the pinning at the back is a bit fragile if you need to wrap big gage cable around the posts. Works very nicely - a bit loud but so much cheaper to replace by yourself and nearly out of stock everywhere else !
Plug and play replacement Pump has been working fine for the past three days. Was a plug and play replacement for the PB4-60 that has ‘served’ my pool for 15 years. Why 4 stars? I don’t know if this is an Amazon or a Polaris issue but packing, well, is just plain horrible. The pump case is dented and I kept it anyway because it’s going to be outdoors and never seen. I know electric motors can be better packed as I’ve bought other from Amazon that arrived with no damage. Just double check the unit before installing. Amazon is... read more

Pump Works Better Than Ever Easy install, polaris was running within about an hour!

Easy install. I’m definitely not handy but if you watch a few YouTube videos you can knock this out. Took me 2 hours but I’d expect if you’re pretty handy you knock this out in an hour. Hardest part was bending my current wires to get secured onto the terminals. Definitely recommend giving it a shot yourself.
