A little noisy This is my third replacement booster pump for my Polaris sweep (in 28 years). As others have stated, the quality of the motor has gone down. It runs fine and isn't too noisy, but it's definitely louder than it should be. I have a set of replacement bearings and I'll probably replace them after a year's use. As there's not really a lot of options out there, it's still a good booster pump for the money.
Good replacement booster pump Relatively easy to install and worked great. Used alternate connection fittings and had some issues leaking but after some plumbing pipe sealant all leaks were leak free.

Nice pump for the money I don’t really see why everyone says it’s loud. Sound like a standard pool pump. So far so good here. It does exactly what I wanted it too.
It's a booster pump for inground pressure side pool cleaners This booster pump is a replacement for the same model I installed about 8years ago. The pump runs a Polaris 280 pool sweep. It is relatively easy to install due to the flexible hose connections. If you are not familiar with wiring an electric motor you may need to hire an electrician for that part of the installation.
Excellent Value as a Package Buying the pump and motor together like this can really save you some hassle in reseating the wear-rings around the motor shaft. Excellent build quality, we should be set for another 5-6 years.

Good product My husband was pleased with the price which was a lot less than our pool store plus it was easy to install. It runs quietly too so we are very satisfied with it.
