The Polaris PB4SQ Booster Pump runs quietly and efficiently. It was super easy to install and cost just a little more than the lower model.
Installed the booster pump a few weeks ago. There was some retrofitting on existing plumbing to use the connection fittings provided but that's to be expected when replacing a 20 year pump. The PB4SQ is as quiet as advertised - you can hardly tell when it is on. And, the actual Polaris in pool operates much better than with the previous booster pump (a Pentair, I believe). It's still early to know if the pump will last, but so far I am very satisfied.

Awesome super quiet
The PB4SQ was easy to install, runs quiet, and the new P39 sweep is working very well with push from this pump.
Works wonderfully super quite and the sweep never performed so well. Easy install had a brief problem to figure out wiring but with a tester wad able to configure and be up and running in a short time. It solved our problem.
Quiet operation. Flexible connections made the installation by the pool equipment distributor quite fast.
Excellent pump - quiet, easy connections included.
