This Polaris purchase is my 3rd cleaner purchase. I started with a Polaris cleaner very similar to the Polaris cleaner recently purchased. I switched to a robotic cleaner because it cleaned the pool better. However, it is more expensive and robotic power cleaner prevented leaves on the surface of the pool from getting to the pool skimmers. Also, the robotic cleaner is much more difficult to clean out leaves and dirt than the Polaris cleaner. Consequently, I made the switch back to the Polaris cleaner.
Works great
We use it at least three times a week because we have sandy soil and lots of wind. We love it!!!
This is our 2nd Polaris in the 40 years of having our pool. We wouldn’t have any other pool cleaner!
It is very fast and more powerful than my last sweep. Sometimes I think it has a bad attitude as it usually drives where I am and squirts water at me.
Our new sweeper device has been great
The Polaris hose always gets tangled up and unconnected from the pressure valve ughhh but it picks up dirt very well. But daily gets tangled and doesn’t move around unless you physically untangle it which is annoying considering I paid so much for it.
The Polaris cleans the pool very well. It gets all of the leaves on the bottom as well as some silt. We are very pleased with the performance of the Polaris.
