We have used the handheld tool on our above ground pool, but this one is the best. Just connect it and let it go. We love this sooo much.

I have been using this product for around a year. Since I live in Florida, it is in operation 24-7 for all 12-months. Pool does not have a cage. (1) does a great job of picking up debris (including sand, etc) that it travels over. (2) Although not ideal, it has worked several times with the collection bag very full. (3) Although I have all of Polaris instructions incorporated, it only covers around 1/2 of the pool bottom after two 4-hour runs every day. Pool has a slight "kidney" shape without any radical corners. (4) us... read more

We’ve had the pool cleaner for over a year now and it really does a good job! I was surprised just how much suction it has! It even sucked up my kids pool toys that sunk to the bottom of the pool! It’s super easy to clean, too. The only downfall is that the cleaner tends to get stuck on our first pool step a lot. And sometimes the long “tail” gets stuck underneath the back wheels causing it to float up. But other than those two issues, we love the pool cleaner!

The cleaning is good to great but the design is clunky compared to our Jandy that it replaced. It was shaped like a sea ray and white hose/accessories.

Very easy to set up and use. Had a little issue setting it up but was able to overcome. Now I hook it up and forget about it. Does a great job cleaning

Just a few days after the completion of our new pool, we went out of town for two weeks during which time there were several severe thunderstorms. I had left the Polaris connected and when we returned the bottom of the pool had a lot of debris. I was concerned on how well the Polaris was working, but when pulled the unit out, the bag was completely full. I emptied the bag, put it back in, and within 10 hours the pool was again virtually spotless. Can’t say enough of how well it works and how much labor it saves me on keepi... read more
