This is my second Polaris 280. The first one, bought in 2001, did a great job of cleaning the pool, usually in under 2 hours per week of actual running time. It required very little maintenance over the 16 years I used it. I'm hoping this one is just as reliable.

This cleaner does a really good job and its bulletproof. The downside is the debris bags are subpar!! They deteriorate very quickly and they are not cheap.

Works Great!
Very reliable. I had a Polaris 280 for over 5 years and switch to a new one recently. Typical or other pool cleaners are quite "pricy"; however, Polaris 280 Price vs Benefit ratio is a balanced trade off.
Very efficient. Cleans pool very well.
