The product overall works well, but the filter is not fine enough to collect silt. After three runs, my pool was still dirty with fine dirt and dust. I used my friends fine filter which did the job. Leslies is now getting me a $80 fine filter replacement free of charge. I left Polaris a review on their site as well . Make sure you correct this problem before you take this $1600 cleaner home which does not do the job. It is a fantastic unit. I have been more than impressed after having the original booster cleaner for 20 years. I would highly recommend.

I love the Polaris VRX iQ with the ultra fine mesh filter addition. It captures most of the sand and silt. This unit is too large to clean the stairs but I can sweep those.

We had a jet powered Polaris first and it was frustrating seeing it stuck in the corner or the deep end. We still had to hand vacuum every week. So we just love this Vac!! Easy to use and never gets stuck- he’s so smart we named him Einstein. Wish we would’ve bought it a couple years ago.

I love it but the cleaner does not climb the steps

Robotic cleaners have a difficult time with steps and benches, as they can’t tell if it’s the top of the pool. We recommend regular brushing of the steps, and once the debris is dislodged, the cleaner can take care of it at the bottom or sides of the pool.
