My goldendoodle Garvey is very comfortable at The Pooch Hotel. By nature, he is very skittish and nervous. However he has come to know several of the Pooch Hotel employees and enjoys being with them. I love the webcam to be able to watch him in the playroom daily.

Making the reservation is such a hassle. I hate that no one answers the phone when you call. Then you get a call back from someone in Illinois from a phone number you don't recognize (and possibly ignore) to finally answer a question. If you stay at it, it takes about a solid week to successfully confirm that you have a reservation, and they refuse to do it over the phone. Once my dog got there, it seemed ok. It’s been about a year since my last review and a lot has happened since. The staff at Pooch Hotel bears a new look, and I have seen them being stretched beyond normal limits with the amount of pets they have had to look after during the summer. What has remained unchanged is the love and attention the staff continues to shower on the dogs. Unclear about reservation, tried to sneak in extra charges, and no one is ever available when you call
Understood my dog’s behavior
I have been a happy customer for some time . This recent visit i noticed a big turn around in staff not trained properly and not engaged with the dogs. When i picked up i had alot of left over food indicating the dogs were not fed properly . No call back from management!
