"Of course, we won't steer you wrong?" Direct quote from Faris Faraj (Owner + President). This is a laughable statement. I believe an accurate and fair description of this company would compare to a shady car dealership. During our process working with Ian and Faris, there were two definable moments where they implemented "bait+switch" tactics to try to get a better deal for themselves. There were also two occasions where the disclosures that were sent were in errors but in DocuSign. Lucki

The process took an extremely long time. While we understood that Covid was going on, and it caused some delays, the fact that it took 6 months to close was very frustrating. Meanwhile we had friends that started their refi process at the same time, and were able to close 3 months earlier than us. We’ve used Premier lending for years and generally have had good results, but after being told numerous times we had everything submitted, we still had to randomly keep procuring “1 more document”.

Faris was misleading, unprofessional and there were a lot of inaccuracies. The worst first-time home buying experience. From start to finish, it was an absolute nightmare. Faris was very helpful at the beginning of the process to provide a flexible solution while jumbo mortgages were unavailable by combining a traditional loan and line of credit. However, the communication throughout the process was disjointed. The final closing statement showed ~$1k of fees which were the first time these were disclosed. While I ended up getting a credit for these after inquiring about them, the fact that they ever showed up was irresponsible.

Ensure better coordination between lender and title company to ensure alignment of figures prior to signing of closing documents to ensure client is not wasting time, particularly on more complex transactions such as bridge loans

Work with Faris only if you are not in a hurry and don't mind working with someone who is full of excuses and doesn't get back to you. I've refinanced many times in my life (I'm 72) and this was the worst experience I've had with a refinancing.

Lack of communications was very frustrating. Automated communications were not accurate and led to frustration on both sides.
