It would have been better if the team would have been more proactive and tried to get everything done well before closing day so we wouldn't be up against a deadline and be worried about not closing on time. Better communication from the team and explaining things better would have helped.

Despite communicating multiple times that we had a Jul 9 closing date that we had to hit and reassurances at the outset that this would not be a problem, there were many delayed document requests that delayed the whole process. I suggest that instead of waiting for requests from underwriters, Premier come up with a checklist of all documents that underwriters have asked for based on their last 10 loans closed and provide this checklist upfront to the borrower.
