More communication, returning my calls/emails, more clarity on the timeline expectations beforehand. There was very little from Faris after the high interest loan was secured, which I understand since my main contact moving forward was with Ian Smith. However, a simple email somewhere during the 3 month long process of paying the loan and refinancing would have gone a long way towards feeling like Faris was paying attention

Had I know that BoA was going to charge me hundreds of dollars to subordinate my HELOC line of credit, I would have insisted we just close my HELOC. Oddly enough, closing was the plan that Connor had communicated to me the first time we discussed the matter; so the team chose to subordinate without checking with me

friendly and quick responses but not a lot when it comes to what to expect and we were asked for stuff that we had know idea how to get. felt like we were left hanging. I am in the medical profession and we are trained to assume that the people you treat no NOTHING of medicine. For example, I treated a lady, I'll call her Sally, who didn't know what a liver was or that she had one. Assume we are all Sally's in the loan world.

The lender was not on track, asked for docs far along in the process leading to excessive delays... Getting docs to buyer was very late and it took forever to fund when finally all approved. Time was not of the essence, in fact, it appeared that nobody really cared that close of escrow was delayed 11 days!

Lots of need for better communication. It seems that lots of new hires were made, not everyone was trained, and follow through was lacking on documents, and updates. Also the process took way longer than I was advised it would. Everyone was nice, and pleasant to talk with. But the process itself was lacking.

Everyone was very friendly and responsive but some critical facts were overlooked about the nature of our property -- that we were converting from a TIC to condos -- despite us mentioning this several times on the phone and in emails. This resulted in involving the wrong title company and considerable confusion and delay. It was all cleared up in the end but the process could have been smoother.

Communication through phone at least. All communication was through via email.
