Two Car Refi's I had an excellent experience. They helped me with my first loan to improve my loan without changing my term. Saved me $19 a month and over $800 in interest. Don't Listen to The Complainers Quick Note about those complaining about RG. When submitting a form with even the last 4 of your social, you have given them permission to run your credit. If they want your last 4 in order to verify it's you. Then they obviously have your full social... And when looking for a better rate, they are going to run credit!... I did read the documents once sent to me and I actually did wait to sign certain pages until my rep called me back. One of the clarification questions I had was about GAP and what it was. It's actually a good thing to have. Once explained and him giving me the option to opt out.... Plus explain all the other randomness I signed and am quite happy with this service.

Just Fine I shopped around for an auto refinance. I applied with Autopay and RateGenius. RateGenius does a hard inquiry right off the bat. Autopay does a soft inquiry. Autopay came to me with a rate they would try to get (because they wouldn't know until doing a hard inquiry). RateGenius came to me with a solid offer right off the bat. Autopay would charge a $449 fee to refinance. RateGenius didn't charge any fee. Autopay's possible interest rate was lower than RateGenius' actual interest rate offered.
