Very poor back office - sent information to wrong agent about scheduling the inspection,denied mistake, didn't return calls, took 3 days to get us the inspection report.

Very comprehensive
If anything, there is too much communication. This resulted from speaking to the person who answered the phone initially, the person who called for details about the job and the person who did the inspection. I emails and phone calls from everyone! It resulted in a bit of confusion about the inspection address, arrive time and address. That said...we were delighted with our inspector. He answered all of our questions, crawled into the dirtiest of crawl spaces and provided us with an excellent report.
It would be better if they can provide a manual receipt at the time of purchase

I believe the inspection itself was thorough. However, the inspector was not prepared to conduct all of the services that I was originally promised. Real Estate Inspections did resolve this issue to my satisfaction by coming back out the next day. But I subsequently posed clarifying questions about the written report to which I have received no response. The report is to be used as a decision making tool. They only covered the routine walk through. They missed quite a few visible/important issues with ceiling and even safety standards. The warranty did not cover for anything and they offered to come and take a look at it again only if I paid them additional money. I am extremely disappointed with the way this turned out. I expected better from a team that claims to have vast experience and sounds so professional. The only plus was the fact that they have access to good technology .

We did our best to satisfy this client. We performed an excellent home inspection and even made an extra visit to help him detect a moisture issue that was outside the scope of our original inspection. He told us that when he moved in, he found that the ceiling in his dining room was wavy; apparently from a bathroom leak. He told us that the waviness in the ceiling wasn't visible from the ground. Several issues arose a month after purchasing the property that should have been identified during the inspection. I specifically asked him about the mechanical systems and he said they were in good standing but just had to be replaced

We told this client that the heating system was functional at the time of the inspection and they were. We also noted that the HVAC system had been neglected and that service was needed. Our inspection is not a guarantee that all the systems we inspect will work for years to come. Our inspection is a visual assessment of the condition of the property at the time of the inspection.
