I think the server forgot about us. Management was at our table a few times and actually refilled our drinks. The food was just okay.

This was a really happy find for us. I saw that they had music on weekends so I booked a reservation. We sat right by the piano player (near bar area) who was great and took requests. Food was really good. Parsnip soup and strip steak were quite flavorful. Waitress forgot our Brussels sprouts but we finally got them. They comped us for that side dish given the inconvenience. We had great service, the cocktails were delicious. Our dinners were wonderful. The announce in side is fabulous. We had a great evening.
Wonderful food… charming ambiance… great service, quite gentile
Lovely restaurant. Great food and service. Usually go here before going to Carnegie Hall.
Generally good if not exceptional. Service very attentive. Seafood with pasta ok but underwhelming. Chowder not bad but needs to be delivered blazing hot. Brought the wrong soup of the day (which had changed) and apologized after the fact. Overall, good. Not great. Not a great value.
We have returned again and again to this great place. Lunch on a weekday late afternoon is one of nyc’s best kept secrets. Caesar salad, Cheeseburgers and Banana Cream Pie are the top.
