After being closed many months for renovation I was looking forward to returning. The food and service seemed a notch below what I recalled. It wasn’t bad, just typical for a midtown restaurant IMO. Perhaps they haven’t quite hit their stride so I will return since I’m sure they’ll be back to 4 stars soon. Favorite dish of evening was Brussels Sprouts.
The service was excellent. There was confusion about whether sushi was available for a Saturday afternoon meal. The restaurant should make it clear that the brunch menu is available on weekend afternoons.
It’s always a great night when you can find parking right nearby. I knew it would be a good night. Service was great.
This restaurant needs to fix its front desk people. The food was great. My steak was cooked to perfection. The wait staff was really on the ball. The problem was our seating. The restaurant was mostly empty when we entered. We had a reservation but they seated us at a table near a work station. I asked for a booth but was told the booths were only for parties larger than four. After we were seated they promptly sat a party of four at a booth. Next time I am in the area I will be looking for a different restaurant.
A good place for brunch in the West 50's. We were very warmly welcomed and the host went out of his way to find a good table for us. All the staff was friendly and attentive. It was our first visit, and we will return.
Food was wonderful, service was fantastic. Very nice for an evening out. It happened to be next door to our hotel, but it is worth traveling to visit. There was also live music that was very good. Really enjoyed our dinner.
Birthday party
Great for brunch. Wonderful atmosphere, service and food. We ordered from the pop up Brooklyn Diner menu, which included coffee and juice. It was really great. We had scrambled eggs with smoked salmon, which was really excellent. We'll be going back for sure.
