I couldn't decide whether the location was fancy or casual. Certain aspects, such as the attention of waitstaff and atmosphere seemed more upscale. But some of the decor, and the wooden chopsticks were more relaxed. The painted murals on the walls were kinda odd... To each their own though. But the food was very good. Wonderful food, atmosphere and service! Love their new fish tacos and the lobster roll. Their signature Banana Cream Pie is a miracle! Will definitely be back.
The food was good and no problems there. The host/hostess staff was excellent and very accommodating and the manager came around to greet all tables. We had a couple issues on the night we ate there-- First, our waiter made it clear he didn't want to work there (and would be leaving in a few weeks), thus, his service was spotty, he complained about having to ask the bartender or chef for slightly altered drinks/food (due to tastes and allergies), and was a little annoying altogether. OMG! Second time here and will be back for third and fourth... Wife got sea bass again and loved. My kids got steaks and loved. I got a 2 pound lobster out of shell for good price with some greens. Tiramisu a must! They even brought out fresh made cookies and cotton candy for the kids. Directly across street from Carnegie Hall and notnm far from Times Squaren theatersn central park etc. Excited to try owner's other place which is Italian and right next door.
It was very loud so thankfully we had a table outside on a beautiful evening. We had show tickets and they were sure to get us out in plenty of time. Our waiter was great and a fun menu. Recommend!!!

Food was wonderful! My husband had the lobster and crab lasagna which was amazing! Our waiter Sean was very attentive and answered all of our menu questions. Will definitely go back!
This is an outstanding restaurant with great food and great service. They recently changed up the menu and they have something for everyone. Their prices are in line for an up scaled restaurant. They provide nice portions and their desserts are awesome. They even brought out fresh Chocolate and Peanut Butter Cookies to the table at no charge. We go eat at this restaurant every time we visit New York. They provide nice music and you never seemed rushed. I highly recommend this restaurant.
