Get directionsWe had 530 reservations and an 8pm show. We had plenty of time, appetizer, entree and dessert. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Went off my beaten path to Redeye Grill for a business lunch but will now make it a regular. Was delightful through-and-through and the moderate noise level was just right. No annoying background music to distract me.
CAN'T GO WRONG HERE FOR ANY OCCASION. EXCELLENT LOCATION FOR CARNEGIE HALL, CITY CENTER
Food is delicious ambiance was great. A little upset because they had run out of chicken dish that I wanted.
My husband and I had eaten at Red Eye Grill a year ago. We are pescatarian and were disapppointed in the limited fish and seafood selection plus that there is no longer the large crab cake but a small one with four pieces of shrimp. Service was excellent.
Interesting creative food choices, nicely prepared and presented. Waiter indifferent and absent, support staff hard working. Very noisy. Pricey. Good for a special occasion splurge.
Pre-theatre meal. Greeted warmly by host. Server attentive initially. As it got busier, noise level increased, server wasn’t around much, and piano music/singing started from the bar. Personally I found the music to be loud and intrusive for dining. It wasn’t relaxing so we left after our entrees. Food was good, not great. I asked for a recommendation of a glass of wine and he suggested the Sauvignon Blanc, didn’t say where it was from, or describe how it would complement my entree. Not very impressed.
Quick pick as we had theatre tickets. We were 15 mins late but table was held. Service was quick so to meet curtain time. Waiter was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Nice experience.
Service always most accommodating and lovely. Food excellent. Good live music and a very pretty room.
