Things like paper table cloth, butter in a wrapper seemed to diminish the quality of the establishment. The beets in the beet salad were not crisp or fresh - were they canned? A small portion for the greens in the salad as well as very modest amount of blue cheese were detractors. The ribs were a more asian spice and the meat was not up to the quality of preparation at other restaurants. Asked for salmon to be cooked as medium and would have described what was served as rare.
Loved the restaurant value and service singer at piano was great which made dinner more enjoyable recommend highly we will be back‼️
A lovely lively atmosphere. The food was delicious, the service delightful, the music excellent. All in all we had a delightful evening.
The food was very good ; the menu has shrunk a little on the no-fish side and i miss the Schnitzel which were a staple. The pretzel roles are outstanding. On the price-fixe I misss the bana ceam pie; there should be a non-chocolate choice

This is one of those remarkable Manhattan places which have become part of the scenery. Definitely recommend to pay a visit. Food is great. A fusion of various cuisines. Service outstanding and they have life music from time to time.
I have been eating at the Red Eye a couple of times a year when I'm in NYC. It never disappoints. Great food and only a 10 - 15 easy walk to all the theatres.
