This restaurant was a wonderful find. Honestly, it doesn't look like much from the outside but what a surprise we were in for. The menu is excellent and offers a wide variety. The staff was so attentive without being overbearing. We even got to enjoy the live music which was wonderful! I will definitely go back!
Excellent experience. Expensive but this is midtown. Freshly baked cookies offered after the meal. Delicious chocolate at the reception desk. Warm and friendkyngreeter. Fabulous piano player singer in the lounge.
I love coming back to places I love and Red Eye is one of them. I know i will always get a good meal with friendly service, generous portions and not have to take a second mortgage to pay the bill. On this post-theater outing, one of our party was very disappointed when the thing she ordered which had really excited her turned out to not be available. Came here for valentines day with my girlfriend. The table was wrapped in red ribbons and lined with candy so beautiful! The live band playing set the mood. Crab claws are to die for!!!! But they are very expensive $23 for two claws 😥. But i still ordered two! ❤️
Manager was present aND very attentive. Great wait staff. Food was high quality. Well be back!
We hadn't been back to Redeye for quite a while as the noise level had been too much to bear. We were pleasantly surprised this visit that the noise has been moderated. The food and service are excellent, but very expensive. Our martinis were $21 per!! But if you don't mind the price, I highly recommend it. Beware, there is live music. Not loud, but not very good.
We love going here. Wish we could afford it everyday it's so good but I have to limit our $300 dinners.
Had a delightful post theatre meal with three friends. Service was impeccable and most gracious, the food delicious. All in all it was a perfect evening.
Great reliable place and right across the street from Carnegie Hall. It has been consistently good for at least 20 years.
