Always a favorite when I'm back in New York. Never disappointes.
I have eaten at several of the very big-name steak houses in Manhattan. The Redeye grill may be half a notch below those legacy steakhouses, but the food is still excellent and the service is OUTSTANDING. The restaurant was quiet (noise level) on two separate visits, which I appreciate. As a frequent guest at the Park Central Hotel, I value the convenience and reliability of the Redeye Grill!
Enjoyed a very nice meal here while our daughter was in town for business. We all enjoyed our meals! The lobster mac n' cheese was delicious as was the seafood and Cornish hen entree. Service was very good. I would return!
First time trying Redeye Grill after many years of visiting the area. Food was great, staff was very friendly but what made the place for me was the live music! On this night a young girl was playing the piano and singing and that made the place even better. Plus she wasn't TOO loud as can often happen so having a conversation was still possible.
My wife and I had lunch here. It was surprisingly quiet for such a wonderful place. Our waiter was also the bartender, and he took great care of us. Next trip to Manhattan, probably six months from now, we will definitely return for dinner.
First time in NYC in 20 years. Went to see a concert at Carnegie Hall. This place is across the street. Excellent drinks and food! I had the Lobster/Crab lasagna and my partner had the 2 lb lobster. Both very good. Service was friendly and attentive.
Steak was very mediocre. The only side that comes with any steak is French fries. Really?!!! Disappointing for the price.
Ask for sushi burger if that is what you want. The menu is not clear.
