Convenient location across from Carnegie Hall, that is why we went in the first place. We didn´t expect to have such a great time: the food and the service were great, plus the restaurant is beatiful.
Great fish, prix fixed and drinks. So convenient to Broadway theaters and Lincoln Center the Red Eye is one of my regular dinner choices. Don't forget to try the dark chocolate and almonds at the maitre D' greeter location.
I would welcome Redeye grill. Although my food order came out incorrectly this time, I've been several times and it's been great! The live music is great!
Really felt like a special treat in terms of the ambiance of the place. The crunchy, fresh salads are my favorite. Unfortunately, filet was disappointing, not delicious enough for the high price and wasn't cooked to my specifications. This was my first time there. My wife recommended it since she had been there once before with friends. We were celebrating out 32 anniversary and stayed in the city for two nights. I had the ribeye steak which was outstanding. My wife had the lobster which was not bad but she regretted not getting the ribeye. Excellent restaurant for quiet business meetings with good and courteous service
We had dinner here before going to the ballet at the Met. Great guacamole as an appetizer. Had the Cobb salad with lobster. Yummy! Our waitress was great, gave us a glass of champagne for my moms bday and cotton candy.
That's all I want to remember is the dessert and the presentation of it. They do not have a kid menu but the server advised us (prior to even asking) they could split a hamburger and fries. Perfect. I ordered the chicken and it was almost better than Ruth Chris's chicken. However the dessert was amazing! For the first time I had a perfect chocolate mousse. I would go back and order it first next time and eat it before my entrée.
