It was very good.
The food was good but was way too expensive. I know that the Carnegie Hall neighborhood is a high-priced neighborhood but Red Eye Grill is way too expensive. I have been eating at the many excellent restaurants in that neighborhood for more than 20 years and have had many meals that were just as good and were less expensive.
This restaurant was excellent for its proximity to the theatre district. It came highly recommended and did not disappoint. The food, service and music were excellent. The steak was perfectly cooked and the truffle mac and cheese was excellent. We were celebrating a 60th birthday. The acoustics were so great that you didn't have to yell.
Excellence at all levels. Seafood was of the highest quality. Entertainment was off the charts. Beverages were perfectly prepared.
I had a lovely brunch with some friends from London, service was great and food was tasty !

The Red Eye is a spectacular restaurant. The food is the very best. The cuts of meat, the wine, the appetizers, the desserts - - everything we ordered was just great. All the food is always prepared with care and delicious. The service is top notch. The waiters were polite, the service was prompt and continuos without being intrusive. We had spent a few days in NY at a friends apt. Four our last night we went here. Great cocktails, very nice wine list. I was in the mood for a burger and it was excellent. Wife and I also shared some sushi rolls for an appetizer and they were also fresh and very good. Only nit was it tok a while to get bread but that was it. Water glasses were filled before we ran out. Absolutely would return
Not enough vegetables with the entrée. Need to put a little more on the plate, for me to come back. don't want to order a salad AND vegetables. Or should state A LA CARTE
