We stayed just across the street from this restaurant and decided to stop over for lunch. We were vacationing in the city so we splurged far more than normal. No lie this place is pricey, but we both had a few drinks, he had a filet and I had a lobster roll. Lobster roll...sounds food truck-ish right??? Not this place. They loved it - the musicians, great food, upbeat and bright atmosphere. Out waiter was awesome. We started with wine and immediately warm chocolate chip cookies arrived. I expect tables nearby were on dessert, but what a great pre-appetizer. The chef was very accommodating and prepared a meal that was not on the menu. This is a great pre-theatre destination and as good afterwards when there's no rush.
Went with a friend to celebrate my birthday - had a reservation - greeted with a smile and immediately sat - wonderful waiter - quick service and a fantastic meal - we had the trout and the lobster/crab ravioli with the special mashed potatoes (could have made a meal on them alone - sooo good) - my friend told the waiter it was my birthday so out comes the Banana Cream Pie with a sparkler on top and the waiters singing Happy Birthday - It was a great meal and great time!!
not frills although lovely place to sit and gaze; very good clean seafood/fish and the service was excellent.

We have dined at Redeye Grill a few times and are never disappointed at the good food and fine service. Our absolute favorite part of Redeye Grill is the banana cream pie. Sometimes we go just for that after the theater. Don't miss it!
Across from Carnegie Hall, this restaurant never disappoints me. I have never had a meal here that was not tasty and prepared to perfection. Do not skip dessert.
Great pre-fixe menu at lunch. There were so many entree options it was hard to choose but once we did we were all very pleased. Portions were healthy, food tasted great, and great service. Not cheap but the pre-fixe made it worthwhile.
Excellent food and service at this restaurant. The cocktail lounge is a great after-work experience as well.
