Get directionsWe discovered this place in 2006 and have been coming here to celebrate ever since. Great food great atmosphere and a short work to Central Park.
Dining in Manhattan can be hit or miss. Overall this place was a hit. The wait staff was very attentive and were able to get a special entree made up for one of our party. The only down side is that it can get rather noisy and ask for a table "inside" if you dont like being on view for everyone walking on Sixth avenue.
We enjoyed our lunch at Redeye Grill. My lobster Cobb salad was truly filled with lobster including two big, meaty claws. Erica, our waitress, was very friendly and was the best waitperson we encountered on this trip to NYC. It was our first visit to Redeye Grill and it won't be our last.
Red Eye Grill is a must! Biggest shrimps in a shrimp cocktail ( and delicious ) a varied and tastey menu, widely spaced tables so that you can hear and converse, all make this restaurant a worthy destination.
Excellent steak, attentive staff and a place that I will go back to.
They've made some changes to the decor since I've last been there. Refurbished, added some music, spruced up the menus, etc. Its all to the good. The food is the same delicious food as always and the wine list, especially the California chardonnays, is wonderful.
Had an important business lunch. Made a great impression on my clients. A must for any occasion
Just too expensive. This place is a nice but not special, prices reflect an extrodinary experience which the Redeye Grill is not.
I've eaten at the Redeye Grill many times and always have a great meal. I love that the waiters serve their home-made cookies at the end of the meal, and the chocolates on the way out are delicious.
